A native Californian, I received my Real Estate license in 1988. I moved to East San Diego County in 1981 and both of my children were raised here. East County is a hidden treasure - only minutes from downtown San Diego, Lindberg International Airport, Balboa Park, renowned medical centers, beaches, golf, shopping plus flowers bloom year round on Mount Helix! A variety of homes are available from entry level to luxury estates to fine retirement complexes. The communities I specialize in are Mt. Helix, Horizon Hills, Rancho San Diego, La Mesa, El Cajon & have helped clients find or sell their homes in areas as far flung as Otay Mesa, Oceanside, Escondido, Downtown San Diego, Ramona and Julian!
I have had the privilege of working in our Mount Helix office, located at 9332 Fuerte Drive, La Mesa CA, since 1990, when it was Priscilla Tomaski REALTOR®. In 1999 Tomaski was acquired by Coldwell Banker NRT – a “win-win” resulting in a higher degree of customer service!
An Associate Real Estate Broker, I regularly attend continuing education classes and stay current with ever changing laws & regulations. As a listing agent my comprehensive marketing plan helps homeowners receive maximum value for their property. While as a buyer's agent, I search until I find the perfect property and negotiate the best possible terms. Buying or selling, my goal is making sure that your best interests are served, even after the close. Much of my business comes from referrals & past clients who appreciate attention to detail, problem solving skills, and a 'hands on' approach to the challenges of today's Real Estate market. I hold the e-PRO designation and also the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation to better serve a growing segment of our population (myself included!).
Active in professional organizations, I have volunteered over the years in groups such as PTA, American Youth Soccer Organization, both Boy & Girl Scouts, Little League and SANDICOR. I currently serve at the East San Diego County Association of Realtor (ESDCAR) as Chair for our Political Action Fund Trustees, as a member of Housing Opportunity and Governmental Affairs Committees, and have chaired numerous committees since 1997, in addition to serving as a director and treasurer. In 2004 I helped found the Housing Opportunity Committee at ESDCAR, a committee which has been active in East County by sponsoring yearly Homebuyer Fairs which offer residents an opportunity to learn about various programs available & the homebuying process, plus the committee offers our REALTOR® members resources & educational opportunities in order to better serve our clients. At the California Association of Realtors (CAR) my involvement included; Professional Standards; Land Use & Environment; MLS, Computer & Business Technology & Chair of the Manufactured Housing Committee. Currently, I am the Vice Chair of the El Cajon Community Development Corporation, where I have been a director since 2004, and Chair of the ECCDC Real Estate Development Team. In 2008 the ECCDC finished construction of the Wisconsin Cottages in partnership with the city of El Cajon, a project which provided seven ownership opportunities for low & moderate income families. The ECCDC also sponsors yearly Homeowner Fairs, offering help for new homeowners and counseling for homeowners in distress through the HUD HOME clinic. I am Treasurer of Mountain View Village Homeowner Association, where I reside, a community of 145 homes in the Granite Hills neighborhood of El Cajon. In 2003 ESDCAR named me Realtor of the Year.
